Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, lived in Toronto, Canada, and Pittsburgh, PA, and came to Atlanta 26 years ago.  I have three children – two in Pittsburgh and one in Florida.

After being robbed six months after moving to Smoke Rise, we figured it would be a good thing to let people know about crimes happening in our area, and so I started doing the crime column about 20 years ago, and have been editing for around five years.
